You don't even know where to start.

MY STORY
Let's start at the beginning...

When I graduated college, I was actually MORE uncertain than when I'd begun. (I think many of us are!) I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. So I tried my hand at a number of careers, many in the realm of education -- from teaching, to writing, to public speaking.
Then after I had my daughter in 2006, it was so important to me to find a way to be home more. So I pivoted, and started my own business as a professional makeup artist.​ It took off. I was very successful, and it felt like the perfect fit.

Then, about a decade later (circa 2016), I was desperate to find a way to take back my weekends. (Most of my makeup artistry bookings took place then, so, bye-bye weekends) With this goal in mind, I decided to shift "mediums," completely moving away from in-person makeup artistry, transitioning to offering my expertise exclusively on social media. Instead of "painting faces," I taught people how to "paint" their own face! They ate it up and I loved being able to offer so much value to my network.
But I'll be honest, I had no idea that this one shift would become so invaluable and life-changing. What started off as me utilizing social media to monetize my expertise, evolved into me gaining a whole NEW expertise. (Social media!) Next thing I knew, I was earning a living exclusively from my social media presence and teaching others how to follow suit.
It's been a tremendous journey and wild learning experience, that's for sure. Perhaps one of the most significant things I've learned is that like us all, social media is always changing. So in order to stay relevant and be successful, we have to choose to change WITH it.
Speaking of changes, let's fast forward all the way to 2021. The year my husband founded a wedding entertainment company. (Go hubby!) Like most business owners, he knew that his social media presence was absolutely essential. However, he did not have the time, energy, OR desire, to manage it.​ He needed a me.
Luckily, I was happy to oblige and offer my skillset. (And he of course was VERY happy he didn't have to have anything to do with social media.) Win win. ​So in 2021, I became his Branding and Social Media Manager, and it was a match made in heaven.
Roughly two years (and many conversations with other business owners later), I discovered something interesting. When it came to social media, they all had the exact same frustrations, struggles and needs that he did.
They too needed a me.

And thus, with great anticipation, Elevate Social Management was born.
